Over the course of over 20 years teaching and coaching sailors in the Caribbean, I have and continue to sail and live aboard all of the latest monohull and catamaran bareboat designs offered by the reputable Caribbean charter companies. Many of my former students ask for my advice on securing their subsequent charter yacht and I extend this service to other discriminating sailors.
I can talk to you via online video link about each boat’s features and benefits because I’ve sailed, docked, anchored, helped prepare meals and slept aboard them. I sail the Caribbean year-round, in every season, so I can also advise you about the sailing conditions to try to ensure that you’re neither overwhelmed or disappointed with the weather.
If you want one or more days of coaching aboard your chosen bareboat (to gain some familiarization with a catamaran, say—or a bigger monohull), that can be arranged for an additional charge.
I can also arrange local transportation by car, water taxi or aircraft charter, travel insurance, provisioning, water toy rentals, scuba diving, fishing excursions or licenses (where required) and overnight accomodation before or after your charter.
Charter Broker Pricing
As an independent charter broker, this is essentially a ‘free’ service to you because, in working with me to select and book your boat, I receive a commission from the charter companies. You will pay the same yacht charter fee that you’d pay by booking directly including any negotiated discount or ‘special offer’ that the charter company might offer.
